Books, Brunch, and Desert Bliss
A Warm Winter Retreat in Scottsdale, Arizona
January 29 - February 1, 2026
(Booking Deadline October 31, 2025)
When winter settles deep into your bones, there is nothing more restorative than the warmth of the desert sun and the quiet escape of a good book. Our Scottsdale retreat offers both.
This Literary Escape is your invitation to pause the noise, step into the golden glow of Arizona’s winter, and reconnect with the simple joys of reading, conversation, and rest. Here, surrounded by dramatic mountain views and the soft rustle of palm trees, you’ll find space to breathe, to laugh, to linger over coffee or cocktails, and to get lost in the pages of your next great story.
We believe that stories have the power to ground us, inspire us, and connect us. That is why we create retreats designed not only for readers but for women who crave meaningful experiences and authentic connection. Our Scottsdale gathering brings together curious, welcoming women for three sun-soaked days of books, conversation, and soul-filling downtime.
Whether you’re lounging poolside, flipping through pages in a cozy corner, or sharing stories over a lingering dinner, this retreat is about slowing down, tuning in, and savoring the season.
Let the desert warm you. Let the books transport you. Let yourself escape.

Do shared rooms mean shared beds?
Possibly—please note that in rooms with double occupancy, the beds cannot be reconfigured. If you book a shared room, and it’s a King or Queen bed, you’ll be sharing a bed with your roommate. If you're not traveling with a friend and would like to be paired, we’ll do our best to match you with someone who’s also open to sharing. Scottsdale, AZ
We recommend flying into one of the following airports for the easiest access to your warm winter Literary Escape:
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) – about 15 minutes from our retreat space and by far the most convenient option. You will be poolside with your book faster than you can say, "Pass the sunscreen."
Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) – located about 45 minutes away, this smaller airport offers select domestic routes and can be a great option for regional travelers.
From there, it is a quick ride to our retreat home in the heart of Scottsdale, where sunshine, stories, and your next great escape await.
Need help planning your arrival? We are happy to help sort out your route or answer questions to make your trip as smooth as possible.
