Sunlit Pages & Mediterranean Nights

A Seaside Retreat in Sitges, Spain

September 23-28, 2026

(Booking Deadline: June 1, 2026)

What if your next chapter opened with sunlight on tiled rooftops, pages turning by a private pool, and cava rising in your glass? In Sitges, storylines stretch like the coastline — long, golden, and full of possibility.

When the noise of everyday life feels too heavy, there’s nothing more restorative than the rhythm of the sea and the quiet company of a good book. Our Sitges retreat offers both—plus a little Mediterranean magic.

This Literary Escape reading retreat is your invitation to trade deadlines for daydreams, alarms for ocean breezes, and endless scrolling for sunlit pages. For six unhurried days on Spain’s Catalan coast, you’ll find space to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with yourself and with others who love stories as much as you do.

Here, mornings drift in with coffee and chapters by the pool, afternoons invite exploration of cobbled streets and whitewashed alleys, and evenings glow with cava toasts, shared meals, and conversations that last as long as the twilight.

But this retreat is more than a lounge chair and a book. Over five sun-soaked nights, you’ll enjoy experiences designed to inspire, restore, and delight:

  • A cava tasting and vineyard visit in the rolling hills of Penedès.

  • A guided wander through Sitges’ historic Old Town.

  • Chef-prepared dinners at the villa, blending local flavors with the ease of home.

  • Optional day trip by train to Barcelona—bookshops, Gothic Quarter cafés, and city color.

  • A seaside walk along the coastal path to Vilanova, with time to pause and soak in the view.

  • Curated book discussions and a blind book exchange, celebrating the stories that connect us.

Every detail of your stay is thoughtfully curated. From the meals and activities to the simple joy of lingering by the pool with a paperback, your retreat price covers it all—so you can fully unplug and savor without reaching for your wallet at every turn. (Just book your travel, and you’re set.)

We believe stories have the power to ground us, inspire us, and remind us of what matters. That’s why our retreats are designed not only for readers but for women who crave meaningful connection and authentic experiences. You’ll be welcomed into a circle of curious, open women for six unforgettable days of books, laughter, seaside sunsets, and soul-filling downtime.

Let the sea restore you. Let the books carry you. Let yourself escape.

From $2,700 per person (shared room) · $3,400 single occupancy · 50% deposit at booking · Balance due June 1, 2026

In some shared rooms, the bed configuration is a single king or queen — meaning you and your roommate will share a bed rather than have separate beds.

If you're booking with a friend, this is usually no concern at all. If you're coming solo and would prefer not to share a bed, we have single-occupancy options available, or we can try to pair you with someone compatible who is also open to sharing.

To see exact room configurations before booking, click 'Book Your Journey' and review the available room listings. Or just send us a message — we're happy to walk you through the options.
